I started TQS Block of the Month quilt in 2017. It took "shelter in place" to get it finished.
I was very excited to make quilt. I did not think of how long it would take. The pandemic helped me along, having something to do at home. When I washed it, to block it, the reds (even though prewashed) bled. I had a pink quilt! I used the bathtub, hot water and Dawn to bring it back. I was sweating it though and it shrunk 5"!! I was very pleased when it took first place in my catagory at our local quilt show this year. I learned so much making this quilt. Set fabric colors before piecing, paper piecing, longarming and borders to make designs fit. Thank you TQS.
