"Grandma Elda Quilt" was featured at QuiltCon 2020 in The Quilts of Victoria Findlay Wolfe exhibit.
Artist Statement: "Every quilt I make, it is linked to my grandmother. From my first book 15 Minutes of Play, to double wedding rings, and my obsession with fabric. My grandmother was one tough lady, nothing slowed her down. I guess I see where I get my work ethic from... I owe this lady a lot. It took me such a long time to finish this quilt, not because of its size, or any confusion, I think I just wanted to sit with it as long as I could, as if she were still here with me... Made with Polyester fabrics in my grandmother's style, along with a photo of her, which I stripped and manipulated in photoshop and printed..."
