"Grand Prismatic" by Cindy Wiens takes its inspiration from the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park.
Cindy says of Grand Prismatic, "This quilt was inspired by the magnificent Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park, the largest hot spring in the United States. Also represented are some of the beautiful pools and bubbling mudpots." It is entirely pieced by Cindy, quilted by Dawn Haldeman, and uses the English Paper Piecing "Pollinate" patten by Kitty Wilkin as its basis.
