Glacier Park - I created this landscape from a picture I took when I was at Glacier Park in Montana in 2004. I went to the NDISQS for a class to do the mini landscape wallhanging. I tried to make the fabric match what the actual photo looked like and used freemotion and machine embroidery to give the picture texture. It used be in a frame, but I took it out of the frame to enter it in the 2009 Capital Quilters Quiltfest. It won 3rd place in the art division.
