Give and Take
Give and Take
"Give and Take" by Marge Tucker was exhibited at QuiltCon 2020 in Austin, TX.
Artist Statement: "Long improvisational pieced curves in black and white were cut into squares and then sewn into half square triangles. The quilt is visually graphic with black and white curves "breaking through" the angled lines of the blocks. While quilting, I was thinking of relationships; how much compromise goes into them, how at times you take more than you give and at other times you give more than you take. Relationships are never black and white."
