After a recent Zoom guild meeting, after Chawne Kimber's presentation, my quilting direction is forever changed! Her quilts took my breath away, not because of their beauty or workmanship, but because of the profound statements the made. This is my first quilt, but not my last, that I plan to make reflecting my life experiences. This series of quilts I am naming, "Mindfulness"! The fabrics and materials chosen; colors used; the fonts and words; designs and techniques, will all be a part of the message sewn into each quilted piece. I am ready to start my next piece about walking in another's shoes.
