"Girl Sewing" is a paper-pieced rendition of a Vilhelm Hammershoi's painting. It has won many accolades in local shows.
Girl Sewing is a paper-pieced rendition of Vilhelm Hammershoi's 1887 painting of his sister, Anna, entitled "Young Girl Sewing". Peggy Aare Page turned the painting into a PP pattern which was promoted on Lori Kennedy's 'The Inbox Jaunt'. I used mostly Daiwabo fabrics except for the red project she is working on. This wall hanging was magically quilted by Tracey Fisher of Bellingham, WA. She quilted fabulous features such as the wall paper, details on the dress and hair of the girl.
