This quilt has foundation pieced hexagon flowers with free motion quilting.
I began this quilt using foundation pieced hexagon flowers by designers Liz Schwartz and Stephan Seifert. I was using scraps and then decided to cut additional hexies from my stash. The back is made of scraps and wonky hexagons. The center hexagon on the front and the centers of the wonky hexagons on the back have flowers made with decorative stitches and a circular attachment. The quilting is all free motion using a domestic machine and a new Grace Cutie frame. I consider this a skill builder for using the new frame and used Lori Kennedy's book "Free Motion Machine Quilting 123" for many motifs.
