Taking its inspiration from another airport, this time the Washington Dulles International Airport, "Form Meets Function" gets its name due to the fact that is a well-functioning and beautiful airport. The main terminal of the airport, which when viewed from the outside rises or descends like a plane would during takeoff or landing, was designed by Eero Saarinen. He took what some might consider to be a dull and unforgiving material, cement, and turned it into something graceful.
