Artist Statement: "This is my first attempt at creating a silk ribbon embroidery miniature quilt with closely spaced and overlapping flowers. I added three-dimensional and hand-painted Ultrasuede to further enhance the realism. Some flowers are my original designs, including marigolds, violets, and sunflowers. The flowers chosen and the overall design are also original."
