"Flying Geese Improv" by Sherri Lynn Wood takes the classic Flying Geese and puts it in the hands of a modern quilter.
Sherri had no plans going in when she made her Flying Geese Improv quilt. She began to create Flying Geese, without a ruler or template, in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors to create this impressive work. After making as many different versions of Flying Geese as she could handle, Sherri switched over and began to make tree tops and incorporated more colors than just the browns she started with.
