"Fly Away Butterflies" by Charlotte Hickman is a beautifully thread painted and nature inspired work.
In Charlotte's quilt, Fly Away Butterflies, the trees and butterflies were created with her special technique of needle felting and thread painting. The components were then free-motion appliquéd on to her quilt.
