Using Inktense pencils, I colored the flowers and mushroom to make this spring quilt in 2020.
I took a quilt along with Helen Godden to make the flowers with Inktense pencils. I love the black free motion quilting designs that I learned in the quilt along. I made the mushroom in a class with Trish Stuart at the Fall Paducah in 2019 (also using the Inktense pencils). I decided to add the "wild" mushroom to the flowers for a spring wall hanging. I thought the flying geese blocks would be a fun addition to the quilt. It was a happy quilt to make during the pandemic.
