"Flower Festival" by Sachiko Chiba won First Prize - Traditional Quilts at the 2022 Birmingham Festival of Quilts.
Inspiration: "I wanted to make this quilt with beautifully placed lilies and roses, two of my favorite flowers. I spent a lot of time on the design, especially rewriting it over and over until I was satisfied with myself. I added on an acanthus leaf pattern to make the flowers look even more beautiful."
