Michelle has a background in publishing, and has had many friends who have had books published over the years. Feeling like it was now her time after publishing and selling stand alone patterns for years, Michelle started to really gravitate toward creating a collection of designs that she herself would publish. This became her book, "Not-Your-Typical Jelly Roll Quilts", which collects Jelly Roll quilts that don't always look like Jelly Roll Quilts. "Five-Star Experience"is a part of that collection,ANDgraces the cover of the book. And while Michelle says that some may be able to distinguish that "Five-Star Experience"was constructed using Jelly Rolls, she says that there are other quilts in the book that you would be surprised were made using 2.5 inch strips.
