Filigree is one in a series of whole cloth quilts that I've done. I tried to do something that would be elegant and beautiful in its home overseas, so I used a neutral color scheme. It is entirely quilted in Superior Metallic thread. I'm so grateful that I was able to connect with my partner, Natalia, and though it may be a while in the future, I look forward to visiting her and my other partner, Galina, in Kiev. I'm thankful to the organizers of this experience for allowing Natalia and I to be matched when our former partners chose not to participate. What a great opportunity to meet new friends overseas!
