Saw the pattern for this in a quilt shop and had to give it a try.
I have a lot of birds so when I saw this pattern I had to have it. I made it with 4 feathers, the pattern calls for 6 which made it too long for my purpose so I did it with only 4 feathers. It was a lot of work cutting all the individual feather pieces but fun playing with color, all feather pieces are fused to the background and entire peice is free motion quilted. I gave it away to my avian veterinarian.
