Fawn Acres represents the most recent chapter of Charisma's story. After her last daughter went off to college, her husband said that they were going to move from central Washington. He worked in the farming industry and both he and Charisma wanted to get back to the trees and their roots. They moved to a five-acre homestead that had an abandoned horse barn, with the promise that that barn would become Charisma's newly renovated studio. She said okay, as long as she could paint the barn pink. And so, once Fawn Acres the home was moved into and complete, then Fawn Acres the quilt became a reality.
