"Fabulous Fireworks" by Lorelai Kuecker won Viewer's Choice at AQS QuiltWeek - Branson 2025.
Artist Statement: "This quilt was inspired by the display of fireworks that my family has at our lake party each year on the 4th of July. I thought, "What better way to represent the American tradition than with patriotic explosions of geometric patterns and color?" As a fifteen-year-old quilter, I have grown from traditional designs into a more modern aesthetic. I designed the quilt to reflect the radiating patterns seen in our annual show."
