Eternal Beauty
Eternal Beauty
Sherry Reynolds employed practically every quilt technique she knew to create "Eternal Beauty".
Sherry Reynolds constructed this masterpiece quilt using hand appliqué, curved piecing, painstaking fussy cutting, and pattern matching, and doing all of the quilting on her domestic machine. She says, "I know exactly how I want the quilt to look and 'read.' I convey that through design, quilting, and embellishing. I'm always up for a challenge and love being creative in both piecing and with the design as a whole."
Finished in 2017 after about 5,000 hours of work, this dazzling quilt is made of 15,000 tiny pieces of cotton and silk fabric, metallic threads and Swarovski crystals. It won the Handi Quilter Best of Show Award at the 2018 International Quilt Festival in Houston.
