Artist Statement: "I designed this abstract quilt at my design wall by cutting shapes and lines freehand and arranging figure and ground to create interesting negative space. It's important to me that you can see the hand of the maker. I designed this to display vertically, but when I turned it 90 degrees, the abstract design evokes the feelings of a warm campfire glow."
