Artist Statement: "Electric Slide is the second in a series of exploration of curved foundation paper piecing at a very narrow size (..." strips) mixed with narrow piecing at ..." in an original composition. It features high contrasting colors to draw the eye to the piecing. It was quilted on a long arm along the horizontal pieced lines and on a domestic machine quilting lines along the shapes of the quilt."
