Corey loves to use panels as jumping off points when creating, and thinks it is an especially good way for beginning quilters to start out. Using a panel from Hoffman, "Dream Big Rose" was custom quilted by Corey, who used multiple layers of batting to experiment with different definition to really bring out the shadowing effect that the panel initially offered.
