"Dot" by Carol Morrissey is based on a photo of her friend's kitten.
Dot is probably the quilt in Carol Morrissey's Exaggerated Pointillism series with the most apropos name. The difficult part she says, as most painters and sketch artists would tell you, is getting the eyes just right. In this instance, Carol knocked it out of the park as Dot's eyes stare right back at you from any angle you look.
