"Designer Star" by Lee Chappell Monroe is Lee's very first pattern that she designed.
Designer Star is made with bright, bright colors and Kaffe Fassett fabric. It was actually designed because after Lee taught her first class on choosing fabric her students wanted to know what her next class was and she didn't have one. So, she made Designer Star for her second class as a pattern for people to play with light and color when making it.
