"Delta Drought" was featured at QuiltCon 2020 in The Quilts of Victoria Findlay Wolfe exhibit.
Artist Statement: "I was very moved this past March when I was in Botswana, Okavango delta. There was not water. What should have been under water and toured by boat, was dry, golden brown and driven by jeep on land. I came home from that trip restored, revived and extremely moved by the experience, and I made this improv cut quilt, in just a few days. There is nothing better than cutting fabric, sewing it at free will, and JUST MAKING something from your soul...capture the memory, tell the story."
