"Dawn Star" is from Marci Baker and Sara Nephew's book, Not Your Grandmother's Log Cabin.
For the fabric selections of Dawn Star, Marci chose what she felt were very pure colors. This required her to work with value and strike the right balance of tones to create the radiating star effect that shines outward from the center of the quilt.
