Dance Of The Wallflowers is about three girls at a junior high dance, with the girls lined up on one side and the boys lined up on the other. The three figures in the quilt are the girls, with one of them representing Libby (although she doesn't know which one), as they wait at the punch bowl nervously for their chance to dance.
