Artist Statement: "When I saw Beverely Thain's image, I knew it was something I wanted to interpret into a raw-edge fabric collage quilt. I love all of the elements of the image and am drawn to images with water and reflection. I knew the elephants have lots of character and texture to add, and having them as a herd crossing a river is especially heartwarming. Machine quilted, some mixed media."
