Artist Statement: "I created this original design as part of a workshop with Patricia Belyea. It is inspired by a relief sculpture at the TVA's Raccoon Mountain Pumped-Storage Plant. The circles and swirls are a nod to the plant's massive turbines and the water they pump from the Tennessee River."
