One of her favorite quilts, Susan Schrempf's "Crazy Quilt" incorporates a lot of different material.
The background is all batiks, with some of the stitches done with 2, 4, and 7-millimeter silk ribbons, there is also some beading by machine along with some metal charms featured throughout. With all of that, plus the way the quilt itself is put together, Susan's quilt certainly earns the title Crazy Quilt.
