"Cottage Garden" uses Kellie Beckwith's mentor's fabric line, Genevieve, as its fabric basis.
Cottage Garden is an homage to Kellie's mentor Carrie Quinn, who designed the Genevieve fabric line from Marcus Fabrics that was used in the quilt. Kellie had just made the quilt and was trying to decide what fabrics to use when Carrie sent her an image of what her new line was going to be. Kellie felt that it was just perfect and decided to incorporate it into the quilt.
