"Copacabana" is the beautiful quilt featured behind Sherry Rogers-Harrison in her TQS "official" photo. It simply shimmers with beauty.
After making multiple, and successful, black and white quilts, Sherry finally decided to take the dive with color and created her quilt, Copacabana. Featuring the same design in each of the four quadrants, Sherry accentuated and enhanced her work using Derwent Inktense Colored Pencils. Initially calling this technique ink-liqué, due to everyone claiming her work looked just like appliqué, she renamed it to paint-liqué after she began incorporating more materials such as paint.
