"Coming Into Light" by Marge Tucker won Best of Show at the 2021 Virtual Spring Quilt Festival by Mancuso.
Artist Statement: "An abundance of strips from previous projects prompted making these string blocks. I chose to use light yellow in the center and work out to orange, red and then purple. The "pieced" strings are trimmings from squaring the blocks. I finished quilting in early 2021 when it finally started to feel like the world may finally be returning to normal. The name Coming Into Light references both the color choice as well as hope."
