I enjoy bringing life under the sea alive by making art quilts using a raw edge applique' collage technique.
For many years my husband and I would scuba dive and snorkle as often as we could, especially in the beautiful clear waters of the carribean. I also try to visit aquariums as often as I can because it is such a visual feast. So once I dove into art quilting, it didn't take long to begin creating under the sea scenes where I can plaly with fabrics and combine reality and fantasty into one quilt. I exhibit and sell most of these quilts and each time one finds a new home it affirms that others love them too.
