My version of the 2021 Color My World quilt contains all sorts of llamas and characters.
Color My World is the featured 2021 Block of the Month quilt from TheQuiltShow.com, designed by Wendy Williams of Australia. I chose bright fabrics and populated my circular town with animals and aliens. There are all sorts of inhabitants of the houses and buildings - polar bears control a building full of fish and the Avengers are assembled in another building. The four corners of the quilt are anchored by the Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, One World Trade Center, and Sydney's Centrepoint Tower.
Techniques
Pieced using the freezer paper foundation piecing method. Big Ben's face is embroidered on linen Aida cloth. Machine quilted.
