Finished top in 12/2022. New treetops & small houses are houses I have lived in. From house I see Empire State Bldg.
Once I saw the quilt I knew I had to make it. Making this a unique quilt was uppermost in my mind. One thing I changed were the treetops which are appliqued on. The biggest challenges aside from putting the whole thing together was designing the Empire State Building and the Seattle Tower. I can see both the Empire State Bilding and the Freedom tower from my deck. Who needs the Eiffel Tower! Each small house represents a house I lived in as an adult. I will be quilting it soon just getting my skills up to what I want to make this truly special.
