Color My World with some ruler quilting and Flange Binding.
This quilt was crafted with the oakshots that I had collected for several years. I was thrilled when Wendy Williams quilt was chosed for the BOM. I supplement with the non-solid oakshot offered by The Quilt Show. I gifted it to my lasted great niece Tessa. I very much enjoyed learning the freezer paper piecing technique and my first attempt at a flange border made by using fusible thread and topstitched with a decorative machine stitch using 35 weight bright green thread. I followed the suggestion of ditch stitching for the majority of the quilt. I did use Gina Perkes and Westalee rulers to quilt the trees.
