I fell in love with this wonderful fabric by Laurel Birch. When a friend of mine came to visit we decided to each make a One Block Wonder quilt. I used a wonderful red for the border and appliqued the edges of the rows of blocks on the border to make it interesting. A thin strip of the birds was added to the border to show how the fabric translated to the blocks.
