My youngest daughter asked for a quilted tree skirt. I found a picture of a tree skirt on Pinterest that only had a few dimensions for the houses and I adapted those to fit the diameter of the tree skirt I wanted to make. The houses and trees were fused and then were machine appliquéd using Alex Anderson's technique for invisible machine appliqué. The tree skirt was then custom long armed by Krisztina Szutor from CA.
