I Should have been named it Sanity in 2020 as it kept me busy during the pandemic..
I have wanted to make Sue Garman's Aftenoon Delight since first seeing it years ago. When The Quilt Show used it as block of the month last year I decided it was a sign it was time. Then the pandemic happened and being at home making this quilt helped me get through the year. I used a few blocks that I designed in place of Sue's blocks but it's mostly Sue's design. The beautiful quilting is by my friend Susan Corbett of Fort Worth Texas. It won Best of Show in North Texas Quilt Festival 2021.
