"Check-Mate" by Katie Fowler is more than a Mandala quilt, it is multiple mandalas tied together as one great quilt.
Katie's quilt, Check-Mate, is made up of Mandalas based on traditional quilt patterns. For example, the one in the center of the quilt is created from a wedding ring pattern, while some others include Mandalas based on Winding Ways and Tumbling Blocks.
