Artist Statment: "I made a freezer paper template and then hand painted fabric for the head and trunk. I used both hand dyed and Kaffe fabric for the ears. I raw edge appliqued the entire elephant and then thread painted the entire elephant using many colors of thread. I then free motion quilted the background."
