Challenge by Sylwia Ignatowska of Podkarpacie, Poland won Third Place - Wall Quilts Movable Machine (Sponsored by Juki America, Inc.) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2024 and it's not hard to see why. This fabulous medallion quilt looks like it's made of lace, an effect created by thousands of different styles and types of machine quilting stitches. And, at first, we thought Sylwia had used buttons as part of her design, but it turns out it is just extremely dense quilting in a contrasting color. We have lots of close ups of this one.
