This quilt is inspired by "Beyond the Block" by Linda Johnson and Jane Wells.
I love working with both Christmas and music theme fabrics, and I wanted a significant piece for my home Christmas decor. Linda Johnson and Jane Wells' book, "Beyond the Block" led me to the perfect organization and layout for the Christmas and music fabrics I had collected. Machine pieced and machine quilted on a domestic machine. Fabric: cotton. Batting: Quilters Dream. Stitching: stitch-in-the-ditch and straight-line quilting.
