"Bumblebee and Coneflowers" by Carol Morrissey was created using an assortment of both dyed and painted fabrics.
Inspired by a photograph that she took, Carol used painted appliqués that were fused on to the hand dyed background to create the stunningly realistic look of Bumblebee and Coneflowers. In fact, the bumblebee looks so real, it just might fly right off the quilt and into your garden.
