"Bridal Stairway" by Dee Christopher was made from a Kansas City Star pattern using only a picture and no directions.
Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, and for Bridal Stairway by Dee Christopher that was the literal truth. Dee had the Kansas City Star pattern to make the quilt, however the pattern only had the picture and no directions on how to make it. Being the problem solver that she is, Dee studied and made drawings of the picture many times until she figured out how to make the quilt for herself.
