"Blue Ridge" by Lee Chappell Monroe is nod to the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains, featuring the flying geese unit.
As a North Carolinian, the Blue Ridge Mountains are near and dear to Lee's heart. Wanting to express that love in a quilt, she created Blue Ridge, which uses flying geese blocks to recreate the pine trees that grow along the mountains.
