"Big Frank" by Jane Haworth is 600% bigger than her normal pet portrait quilts.
Artist Statement: "Having made many smaller pet portraits, I wanted to challenge myself by making something larger and using unrealistic colors. For this I used a 600% enlargement. For the fabric choices, I headed to my scraps and older, ugly fabrics. While making the collage as I grew bored with one color palette I raided my scraps again and found new colors. The photo I found on Pinterest and it took about three months to get permission to use the photo."
