Shoko SakaiI continue making quilts because I enjoy doing it. There is no other way to describe my enthusiasm. I like two-colored quilts and I prefer using two monochromatic colors rather than using similar hues or printed fabrics. This is a quilt which I had given up on in the past. Ever since I turned sixty years old, I felt the need to finish whatever I had started so that I would not have any regrets.
